The Florida Community Land Trust Institute has been working with Senator Bennett and Representative Fitzgerald to obtain ad valorem (real property) tax direction and tax relief for community land trust properties. This legislation was originally adopted in June, 2007, but due to a legislative staff error, never became effective.
